Just got back from a very enjoyable gig that didn't look too promising as we rocked up at the venue at 8pm. It looked a case of "a game of dominos, bottle of light ale and home for 'Match of the Day'" BUT with an enthusiastic, receptive and friendly audience, a more pleasant evening to play the Blues one couldn't wish for.
A swift return for The Big Blue is now on the cards for 17 September at The Alma, Framfield Road, Uckfield, East Sussex. Tell your friends there's a new venue around taking its music seriously and taking care of its musicians and its customers.
Keep it real.
Nice one Stu and the boys. Great night and as you say in the end a great venue. See you on the 17th Sept.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi there Big Blue,
Just got home from the Cinque ports gig.
What a great evening of music, pure magic and the best live blues I've ever heard.
The question I always ask myself when I get back from these gigs, is, why doesn't my bloody stratocaster do all that too.
Should I buy a red one? They don't seem to sell guitars with a free set of clip on obediant fingers, not even at Bennetts Music.
Oh well, thanks again for a lot of enjoyment. Will be seeing you again real soon.
Take it easy
Colin
