Tara the terrapin is staying, it’s official. After days of trying to communicate with various different people on the subject of what to do with her, it seems that they either don’t care or can’t be bothered to help her.

We had a huge stroke of luck in the last week or so, Jack and Marie who keep their horses here asked us if we needed a tractor.

Window Wonderland

Well the cold has certainly set in with a vengeance. It was –11 at 8am the other day. I believe it has become very cold over most of Europe, so we are bracing ourselves. If it’s anything like last year, then it will be half-fun, half-not fun and half-inconvenient.

Got your goat!

Remember I told you about all those brambles? Well now I’ve finally got a helping hand to eradicate some of them. A Goat! We were having drinks at a friend’s house last week and they mentioned that some friends of theirs had inherited a goat that had been abandoned by its owners. They had bought a house and the previous owners had left it there along with 9 cats. They didn’t really want to keep the goat and were looking for someone to give it a good home.
