It's okay, you can all stop searching for me, I'm here.
Bet you wondered where I'd gone? Well, I'll tell you. I've been non-communicative because I had my ISDN line removed (sounds painful, I know) and was back on regular analogue phone line connection using my laptop. Slow is not the word!!! Now, after 10 days of that torture, here I am in the 21st Century - at last! I'M ON BROADBAND - HURRAH!
So my guess is that now you're having to read this much faster than you did before because this has certainly speeded things up from my end. I'm visualizing a MASSIVE increase in my productivity (or maybe just more time to play).
But, it's a funny thing.....
Actually, a couple of funny things that occurred to me over this long 10 day wait.
Firstly, isn't it funny how we take things for granted until they're no longer there. When my ISDN line was disconnected it meant I no longer had any internet connection from my PC and I kept forgetting and trying to connect to get things done. It's a bit like when there's a power cut and you can't do any work because the lights and the computer have all gone off so you think to yourself, "Never mind, I'll go and make a nice cup of tea" - ah, electric kettle!
The good thing was that because I was only connecting on the laptop for the very essentials, I was forced to spend my time working on other things that I probably wouldn't have got done if I'd still had my internet connection. I've taken the time to review my goals and I've spent more time thinking than I have done for a long time and a lot of good's come out of it.
I suppose it's about looking for the benefit in every situation. If we look hard enough there will always be one (or more).
Welcome back dearie! Now what't that cat been up to?
How's your Google Adwords campaign been doing? Mine's gone mad over the last week or two!
Cheers
Nicola
